Miranda has been working as a technical assistant with ArchLink since 2021. She completed her Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, majoring in Archaeology and Ancient History, minoring in History in 2023. She hopes to complete her Honours thesis in 2024, sepcialising in textile use in Ancient Mesopotamia.

 

In 2023 Miranda undertook a three week excavation of the Ancient Roman site of Carsulae, Italy. She is excited to continue developing her field skills and gain experience in Australian archaeology.

As an Assistant Archaeologist, Miranda works in the field supporting our senior staff as well as at the office cataloguing artefacts, photography and general research for our projects.
