Our Team

The ArchLink team comprises highly qualified and experienced staff members, with a range of expertise across both Indigenous and non-indigenous archaeological consultancy work.

Our archaeological staff include Heritage Advisers (HAs) who are qualified to work under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 and the Heritage Act 2017.

In addition, we are able to draw on a team of expert specialist subcontractors, including conservators, artefact specialists and historians, as well as a large network of sub-contracting excavation staff that enables the team to surge in capacity for large fieldwork or artefact analysis projects.

The staff at ArchLink undertake regular training workshops and courses provided by our professional bodies, AACAI and ASHA, to keep in touch with the latest developments in archaeological practice. Training workshops have included sessions on; Raw materials used for making indigenous stone tools; Human remains; Animal bone; Geomorphology; Artefact conservation, glass and ceramic artefact identification; and Photogrammetry.  The team also attend and contribute regularly at conferences.
